Samarium Doped Ceria (SDC) or Samaria Doped Cerium Oxide Ce_0.9Sm_0.1/Ce_0.8Sm_0.1 oxide is one of many ceria doped composition manufactured by Trixotech. We can manufacture high purity SDC with specific impurity profile as per customer’s application. This composition can also be made with certain weight percentage of LSM/LSCF for improved properties. Application:

Samarium Doped Ceria (SDC) is mainly used to form electrolyte layer in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs). Other applications include heterogeneous catalysis, oxygen gas sensors, three way catalysts for automobile exhaust systems.
